ABSTRACT


Chess is an ageless mind game where two players compete to outmaneuver each other's pieces. Strategically position your pieces on the board and employ your wit and strategy to anticipate your opponent's moves. The victor is the first player to checkmate the opponent's king. A traditional blend of skill, logic, and foresight awaits!


RULES


  • Setup: Arrange your pieces in the starting positions on the board. Each piece has its own unique movement rules.


  • Gameplay: Take turns moving your pieces across the chessboard to capture your opponent's pieces and to protect your own.


  • Captures and Escapes: Keep track of captured pieces to evaluate the advantage in the game. Pieces can be captured by moving your own piece onto the opponent's piece or by forcing the opponent's king into a position where it can no longer escape capture.


  • Victory: The game ends when one player's king is in a position to be taken in the next move. The other player is then declared the winner.
